Abstract

Background: Cholestasis is one of the major complications of parenteral nutrition. The purpose of this experimental study was to detect the effects of acetylsalicylic acid (ASA), vitamin E (Vit E), and interferon-alpha (IFN-alpha) on prevention of parenteral nutrition-associated cholestasis.
