However, there are many factors that nega�vely affect children's mental health. One of these factors is psychological abuse. Psychological abuse is the constant display of behavior that harms the child's personality development and makes him/her feel humilia�ng, condescending and inadequate. Such behavior can nega�vely affect the child's self-confidence and self-esteem. Family is the child's closest environment and the most important factor that directly affects his development. Unfortunately, in some families there may be situa�ons where children are exposed to psychological abuse. Psychological abuse within the family can nega�vely affect the child's mental health and lead to long-term consequences. The educa�on system plays an important role in protec�ng children's mental health. It is important that the educa�on system is integrated in preven�ng psychological abuse. Schools can play an important role in mee�ng children's social and emo�onal needs and can detect and intervene in possible situa�ons of abuse. Protec�ng children's mental health is important to ensure that they con�nue their healthy development. Families and the educa�on system play an important role in protec�ng children against psychological abuse. Families should be sensi�ve to their children and meet their needs. The educa�on system must take the necessary precau�ons to prevent and intervene in psychological abuse. It is important to be aware of this issue, which requires great responsibility, and not to refrain from taking effec�ve steps. Keywords: Abuse, Child, Psychology
