Dealing with the concept of peace and peace journalism in this study, peace journalism is discussed over its opposition relation with war journalism. In this article, it is addressed the obstacles of peace journalism although it is seen as the ideal journalism and is demonstrated that these obstacles are opportunities for peace journalism as well. In this article, while acknowledging the role of media in peace building, it is asserted that both peace and peace journalism is come true after overall result of effort. To measure the argument of the article, a survey was applied to Gazi University Communication Faculty senior class students and it is seen to finding of the research supports the argument of the article.
