Özet

Any urban planning requires up-to-date and accurate data. These data aregenerated by remote sensing satellites and processed and analyzed in Geographic informationsystem software. In recent years, data from many of these studies have been generated byGoogle Earth Engine, known as a revolution in remote sensing that uses its cloud platform todo all the analysis in the shortest time. This study uses the data available in the Google EarthEngine platform for Malatya, Turkey; the land surface temperature and the two informationlayers digital elevation model and Normalized difference vegetation index were calculated. The relationship between these three layers was analyzed by statistical analysis. Climatechange and global warming have had a direct impact on urban studies. The data obtainedfrom this study can be used in any urban planning for the city of Malatya Any urban planning requires up-to-date and accurate data.
