Bu araştırma hemşirelerin üreme baskısı ile benlik saygıları arasındaki ilişkiyi incelemek amacı ile tanımlayıcı olarak, Nisan 2024 ile Şubat 2025 arasında bir Eğitim ve Araştırma Hastanesinde yapıldı. Araştırmanın evrenini ilgili hastanede çalışan, evli ve kadın olan 753 hemşire, örneklemini ise araştırmaya alınma kriterlerine uyan 151 hemşire oluşturdu. Veri toplanmaya başlamadan önce etik kurul ve kurum izni alındı. Veriler Kişisel Bilgi Formu, Üreme Baskısı Ölçeği ve Rosenberg Benlik Saygısı Ölçeği ile toplandı. Veri analizi SPSS paket programı ile gerçekleştirildi.Hemşirelerin yaş ortalamalarının 35,71 ± 7,86 olduğu belirlendi. Hemşirelerin %78,1 inin lisans mezunu ve %27,2 sinin 18 yıl ve üzerinde deneyime sahip olduğu saptandı. Hemşirelerin üreme baskısı puan ortalaması 0,31 ± 0,89, benlik saygısı puan ortalaması ise 16,07 ± 4,04 olarak bulundu. Üreme baskısı ile benlik saygısı arasında istatistiksel bir ilişki saptanmadı((p>0,05) Bu araştırma sonucunda hemşirelerin benlik saygısının yüksek, üreme baskısının ise düşük olduğu saptandı. Üreme baskısı ile benlik saygısı arasında ilişki saptanmadı. Araştırma sonucuna göre, başka gruplarda benzer araştırmalar yapılması önerilebilir.
This descriptive study was conducted between April 2024 and February 2025 in a Training and Research Hospital in order to examine the relationship between reproductive pressure and self-esteem of nurses. The universe of the study consisted of 753 married and female nurses working in the relevant hospital, and the sample consisted of 151 nurses who met the inclusion criteria for the study. Ethics committee and institutional permission were obtained before data collection. Data were collected using the Personal Information Form, Reproductive Pressure Scale, and Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale. Data analysis was performed using the SPSS package program. The mean age of the nurses was determined to be 35.71 ± 7.86. It was determined that 78.1% of the nurses had a bachelor's degree and 27.2% had 18 years or more of experience. The mean reproductive pressure score of the nurses was 0.31 ± 0.89, and the mean self-esteem score was 16.07 ± 4.04. No statistical relationship was found between reproductive pressure and self-esteem ((p>0.05). As a result of this research, it was found that nurses had high self-esteem and low reproductive pressure. No relationship was found between reproductive pressure and self-esteem. According to the research results, similar studies can be recommended for other groups.
