Özet

The elements of biological diversity, whose area of use has expanded thanks to the advancements in science and technology, have become much significant compared to the previous eras. Extinction or lessening of the species brings various social and environmental problems in its wake. Within the context of the changing national security approach; the problems, occurring in the elements that make up the environment, are directly associated with the national security. In this regard; the extinctions in the biological diversity and the preservation of these diversities turn into an environmental and national security issue. The aim of this study is to demonstrate the link of the biological diversity with the environmental and national security.
