Prayer is the name given to process of communication between an individual and Allah. Allah desires of man to call on him and man responds to this as a result of his natural disposition. Prayer according to the Mu'tazila is a request and an appeal. The contents of an individual prayer should entail goodness and poblic interest. It is for his reason the Mu'tazila have contended that from a humane and subject aspect prayer encompasses certain conditions. If the conditions of prayer manifest then it is obligatory fort hat prayer to transpire, they argue. One of conditions of a prayer being accepted however, is fort he individual and reality behind it if the individual rightly deserves it. In addition to this, Allah has asserted that He will respond to every good and valuable request that is directed at Him with servitude and veneration. Acceptance at the same time implies a reward. From this perspective, the Mu'tazila consider reward and punishment a part of an individual's deserving of their prayer being accepted by correlating prayer with taklif-"God does not order/give the soul of any of his creation, that which is beyond its capacity. With these dimensions, our journal encompasses a portrayal of the meaning and nature of prayer particularly in the Mu'tazila school of thought.
