Bu çalışmada, Urtica L. cinsine ait endemik bir tür olan olarak bilinen U. haussknechtii Boiss., ve U. dioica L.'nın 3 alttürünün taksonomik durumu tartışıldı. Başta U. haussknechtii nin tip lokalitesi olmak üzere çalışılan taksonlara ait farklı zamanlarda farklı lokalitelerden bitki örnekleri toplandı. Toplanan örnekler herbaryum materyali haline getirildi. Toplanan örneklerin incelenmesiyle U. haussknechti türünün U. dioica subsp. dioica’nın ontogenik bir varyosyonu olduğu gösterildi. Ayrıca Türkiye’deki 3 alttürün önceden belirtilmeyen çiçek morfolojisi ile ilgili ölçümler yapıldı, yaprak morfolojilerindeki farklılıkları içeren ilave bilgiler verildi. Çalışma sonunda taksonlar için teşhis anahtarı yeniden düzenlendi.
In this study, the taxonomic status of endemic U. haussknechtii Boiss., and 3 subspecies of U. dioica L. were discussed. Plant samples belonging to the studied taxa were collected at different times from different localities including type locality of U. haussknechtii. Herbarium materials were prepared from the collected samples. By examining the materials, it was shown that U. haussknechtii was an ontogenetic variation of U. dioica subsp. dioica. In addition, the measurements of flower morphology, which were not mentioned before, were made and additional informations on leaf morphology were given for 3 subspecies in Turkey. At the end of the study, the identification key for taxa was rearranged.
