Özet

The nanosized TiO2 synthesis was performed through the hydrotheimal method by using titanium alkoxides. The structural, physical and chemical characteristics of the nanosized TiO2 were determined via XRD, SEM and particle size analyzer. The synthesized nano-TiO2 particles were obtained in a completely anatase form. Different concentrations of nano-TiO2's turned into sol were applied into the LNCaP cells in the cell culture media, and their antitumour/proliferation activities were tried to be determined photocatalytically with and without the UV-ray. For this, the numbers of living and dead cells were detected by means of MTT method, and thus, the anticancer characteristic was determined.
