Özet

Amaç: Eozinofilik granüloma (EG) histiositozis X hastalık grubunun lokalize ve en iyi huylu olan formudur. Tüm EG olgularının %10

ile %20 sine çenelerde rastlanır. En sık rastlanan oral bulgular palpe edilebilen kitle ve şişliktir. Hastalığın tedavisinde cerrahi kü-

retaj, radyasyon terapisi, sistemik kemoterapi ile steroid uygulamalarını içeren yöntemler kullanılmaktadır. Bu olgu sunumu, 17

yaşında anterior diş eksikliği mevcut sınıf III maloklüzyona sahip eozinofilik granüloma erkek hastanın protetik rehabilitasyonu-

nun sonuçlarının bildirilmesidir.

Olgu Sunumu: 17 yaşındaki erkek hasta İnönü Üniversitesi, Diş Hekimliği Fakültesi, Ağız, Diş, Çene Cerrahisi Kliniği'ne maksiller

anterior bölgesindeki ağrı, şişlik ve rahatsızlık hissi nedeniyle başvurmuştur. Sistemik herhangi bir problemi olmayan hastanın

hikayesinde şikayetinin 8 aydan beri varolduğu saptanmıştır. İntraoral muayenede maksiller anterior bölgede 11- 12 nolu diş-

lerde aşırı periodontal harabiyet, yumuşak dokuda destrüksiyon varlığı belirlenmiştir. Biyopsi sonucu histopatolojik tanısı konulup

gerekli tedavisi yapılmıştır. Estetik şikayet ve fonksiyonel yetersizlik sebebiyle Protetik diş tedavisi kliniğine yönlendirilen 17 ya-

şndaki erkek hastanın radyografik ve klinik muayenesi yapılmıştır. Hastanın estetik beklentisinin karşılanabilmesi, fonksiyon ve

fonasyon problemlerinin giderilmesi amacıyla sabit metal destekli porselen protez yapımına karar verilmiştir.

Sonuç: Bu olgu sunumunda anterior dişlere uygulanan sabit protetik restorasyonun; hastada hem estetik, hem psikolojik, hem

de fonksiyonel açıdan düzelme sağladıkları ve başarılı oldukları sonucuna varılmıştır. Fonksiyonel açıdan tatmin edici sonuçlara

ulaşılmıştır.

Introductıon: Eosinophilic granuloma is the local and the mildest form of histiocytosis X. Nearly %10 to %20 of all cases of eo-

sinophilic granuloma occur in the jaws. The most common oral symptoms of the disease are a palpable mass and swelling. The

methods of the treatment include surgical curettage, radiation therapy, systemic chemotherapy and corticosteroid therapy.

This case report the results of prosthetic rehabilitation of a 17-year-old male patient with eosinophilic granuloma with Class III

malocclusion with anterior tooth deficiency.

Case: A 17-year-old male patient was admitted to İnönü University, Faculty of Dentistry, Department of Oral and Maxillofacial

Surgery for pain, swelling and discomfort in the maxillary anterior region. The patient who had no systemic problem had a his-

tory of complaints for 8 months. Intraoral examination revealed excessive periodontal destruction and soft tissue destruction

in teeth 11-12 in maxillary anterior region. Histopathological diagnosis was made after biopsy and necessary treatment was

performed. A 17-year-old male patient was referred to the Prosthodontics Clinic for aesthetic complaints and functional impa-

irment. it was decided to produce fixed metal supported porcelain prosthesis in order to meet the aesthetic expectations of the

patient and to eliminate the problems of function and phonation.

Summary: In this case report, fixed prosthetic restorations applied to anterior teeth; It was concluded that the patient achie-

ved a significant improvement in both aesthetic, psychological and functional aspects and they were successful. Functionally sa-

tisfactory results were achieved.
