In this study, the design of a pure iron-doped magnetic fluid-based transformer, a new approach, and the output voltage characteristic at different frequency values are investigated. The output voltage characteristics of different frequency values have been investigated by adding magnetic fluid and pure iron dust into the air-core transformer made of non-magnetic material.
The results are presented in tables and graphs. The electrical properties of the prototype transformer and the output characteristics of the designed transformer are similar to those of industrial transformers at high frequency values. It has been concluded that pure iron powder reinforced magnetic fluid level transformers are advantageous for some applications compared to solid metal core transformers, and are presented in comparison.
