Çalışmanın amacı değerler eğitimi açısından Âşık Davut Sulari türkülerinin incelenmesi ve tema analizlerinin yapılmasıdır. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu, Âşık Davut Sulari’ye ait TRT Türk Halk Müziği repertuvarında yer alan ve almayan ulaşılabilen 200 türkü oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmada, Âşık Davut Sulari’nin türkülerinde yer alan değer un-surlarını belirlemeye yönelik nitel yöntemlerden içerik analizi ve belgesel tarama modeli kullanılmıştır. Bu kapsamda, Sulari’nin türküleri MEB İlköğretim ve Ortaöğretim Müzik Dersi Öğretim Programlarında yer alan 10 kök değer (adalet, dostluk, dürüstlük, öz dene-tim, sabır, saygı, sevgi, sorumluluk, vatanseverlik ve yardımseverlik) ve temaları açısından analiz edilmiştir. Değer saptanan türkülerin ise tema analizleri yapılmıştır. Değer ve te-maların belirtildiği örnek türkülerin bazıları, sözleri ve notaları ile verilmiştir. Çalışmanın sonucunda; Sulari türkülerinde en fazla “sevgi” değerinin mevcut olduğu, “adalet”, “yardımseverlik” ve “sorumluluk” değerlerinin mevcut olmadığı, en az görülen değerlerin ise “sevgi-saygı”, “sevgi-öz denetim”, “öz denetim” ve “öz denetim-dürüstlük” değerleri olduğu incelenmiştir. Değer tespit edilen türküler, temaları açısından incelendiğinde ise türkülerde en yoğun olan değer ve temanın “sevgi değeri ve aşk teması” olduğu, “sevgi değeri ve tasavvufi temada” olan türkülerin azımsanmayacak düzeyde olup ikinci en yoğun değer ve tema olduğu, “sevgi-saygı değeri, anlatı teması”, “sevgi-öz denetim değeri, tasav-vufi tema”, “sevgi değeri, aşk ve hasret teması”, “sevgi değeri, farkındalık ve çaresizlik teması”, “sevgi değeri, öz denetim ve tasavvufi tema”, “sevgi değeri, farkındalık teması”, “sevgi değeri öğüt teması”, “sevgi değeri, sitem teması”, “sevgi değeri yakınma teması”, “dostluk değeri, anlatı teması”, “dostluk değeri, hasret teması”, “dostluk değeri, sitem teması”, “dostluk değeri, tasavvufi tema”, “dürüstlük değeri, anlatı teması”, “sabır değeri, öğretici tema”, “sabır değeri, yakınma teması”, “vatanseverlik değeri, hasret teması”, “vatanseverlik değeri, yakınma teması”, “öz denetim değeri, çalışkanlık teması”, “saygı değeri, yakınma teması” ve “sevgi değeri, anlatı ve öğüt temalarında” olan türkülerin ise en az yoğunlukta olduğu saptanmıştır.
Minstrels are among the important cultural elements in Turkish society in terms of reflecting the society's feelings, thoughts and lifestyle. Âşık Davut Sulari is an important representative, carrier and transmitter of these elements. The study aimed to ex- amine the folk songs of Âşık Davut Sulari in values education and to perform verbal theme analysis, and from this, to reveal the social traces. And the study is important in this respect. The study group of the research consists of 200 folk songs belonging to Âşık Davut Sulari, some of which are available in the TRT Turkish Folk Music repertoire. In the research, con- tent analysis and documentary scanning models from qualitative methods were used. In this context, Sulari's folk songs were examined in terms of 10 root values (justice, friendship, honesty, self-control, patience, respect, love, responsibility, patriotism and helpfulness) in- cluded in the MEB Primary and Secondary Education Music Lesson Curriculum and theme analyzes were made in terms of lyric layers. As a result of the study, it was observed that; in Sulari folk songs, the value of "love" was mostly included; the values of "justice", "helpful- ness" and "responsibility" were not used. It was concluded that the least common values were "love-respect", "love, self-control", "self-control" and "self-control-honesty". When the folk songs whose values were determined were examined in terms of their themes, it was deter- mined that the most intense value and theme in the folk songs were"love value and love theme", “Love-respect value, narrative theme”, “love-self-control value, mystical theme”, “love value, love and longing theme”, “love value, awareness and helplessness theme”, “love value, self-control and mystical theme”, “love value, awareness theme”, “love value advice theme”, “love value, reproach theme”, “love value complaint theme”, “friendship value, nar- rative theme”, “friendship value, longing theme”, “friendship value, reproach theme” , “friendship value, mystical theme”, “honesty value, narrative theme”, “patience value, in- structive theme”, “patience value, complaint theme”, “patriotic value, longing theme”, “pat- riotic value, complaint theme”, “self-control value, diligence theme”, “respect value, the theme of complaint” and “love value, narrative and advice themes” were the least dense.
