In this study, a series of bis[tetrakis(alkylthio)phthalocyaninato]lutetium (III) double decker complexes [(CnS)(4)PC](2)Lu(III) and Single Walled Carbon Nanotubes (SWCNT) are dispersed in solutions to prepare a novel composite. Thin films of this composite are prepared by solving the composite in chloroform and then coating the solution by jet spray method onto the IDT substrates (Inter Digital Transducer). DC electrical properties of both [(CnS)(4)Pc](2)Lu(III) compounds and [(CnS)(4)Pc](2)Lu(III)-SWCNT composites are investigated under 20 sccm nitrogen gas flow in a dark chamber between the temperatures from 300 K to 420 K. It was found that the conductivities of [Pc2Lu(III)]-SWCNT increased in the order of 10(1)-10(4) and the conduction mechanism also changed from ohmic to space charge limited conduction.
