Özet:

General purpose of the research is to identify and compare the level of disposition of the students of İnönü University College of Education and to examine the potential factors that are thought to have an impact on critical thinking tendencies.Research field is consisted of the students who have been educated in Inonu University College of Education in 2010-2011 cohort. Research is based on the data that is collected from 1.247 candidate teachers. The data of this raster pattern research are collected by using ?Scale of Critical Thinking Disposition? tool. Mentioned tool is prepared by researcher and acceptability and creditability of the tool is practically performed.SPSS (Statistical Package for the Social Sciences) for Windows 17.0 is used in the analyzing process of the collected data. ?t? test is performed to data analysis and independent samples. Comparative analyses are performed by using ?One Way Anova?.According to the findings basing on the research results, critical thinking disposition levels of candidate teachers are concluded as ?good? level and a significant difference is recognized in favors of the upper classes at the class level. The findings of this research conclude that there is a significant correlation between the ?average of critical thinking disposition? and type of program, the level of socio-economic prosperity of hometown, education level of mother and family income parameters. On the other hand, research findings also conclude that gender, education level of father, type of education parameters do not have a significant influence on the critical thinking disposition of candidate teachers.Key words: Critical thinking, critical thinking disposition.
