Özet

Introductıon: Early childhood caries defined as multiple cavites or lesions without cavity, tooth loss due to caries or presence

at a filled tooth surface in any primary teeth in 71months or younger children. Early childhood caries occurs due to inadequate

oral hygiene knowledge of parents,harmfull and cariyogenic eating habit of the child. The aim of treatment of early childhood

caries, is keep to the teeth in the mouth by considering the psicology of the patient, contribute the growth and development

of the child by preservate the phonation and function.

Case: A 4-year-old male patient was referred to our clinic with pain in his anterior and posterior teeth. Deep dentine caries had

been detected in all teeth in his mouth. Root canal treatment was performed on 51,52,61. Ferric sulfate amputation was performed

on teeth 54,64,75. Compomer restoration was done 53,63,74,84,85 and 62 numbered tooth was extracted. After the

wound area was healed, the nance appliance was made with a tooth. Oral hygiene training was given to the patient’s family at

the end of the treatment the patient was called for routine follow up every 3 months.

Results: with treatment of early childhood caries, the child’smouth / teeth health and body nutrition have balanced. The child’s

lost fonction and fonation is recovered.The child’s self confidence increases after such comprehensive treatments.
