In the present work, giant magnetoimpedance (GMI) properties of electrodeposited Co20.77M61.74Fe17.49, Co18.21M41.20Fe40.59, Co27.53M36.98Fe35.49, Co41.35N62.83Fe25.82 and Co36.00Ni32.27Fe31.73 composite wires have been studied. The frequency responses of the GMI characteristics of the above alloys have been measured and Co41.35M32.83Fe25.82 Wire showed the best frequency response. Scanning electron microscopy images showed that the grain growth mechanism can vary depending on Ni content, and the wires have grain sizes that vary between approximately 3 and 19 mu m.
