Abstract:

Our thesis which is the Study of the Salah Concept in Quran Tafsirs in the Context of Al-Baydawi and Al-Maraghi consists of one introduction part and two sections. In the introduction part, we explained the importance, the aim and the methodology of our study. In the first section, we examined the dictionary and term meaning of the concepts which means salah and also its relationship between root meaning and term meaning after bringing up Al-Baydawi and Al-Maraghi life, knowledge and their interpretation methodologies of the Quran respectively. In addition, we considered the thoughts of other mufassirs about the salah concepts by referring the old and the new dictionaries. In this matter, we exemplified both the mufassirs existed in the early centuries such as Taberi Al Maturidi , Ibn Ubayd, Shafi'i and also the recent mufassirs. Then, we illustrated the views of Al-Baydawi and Al Maraghi related to salah concepts. In the second section, we stated the views of Al-Baydawi and Al Maraghi regarding other matters which is related to salah. Additionally, we demonstrated the evaluations of Islamic law and the methodologies of those mufassirs with respect to the example verses of the Quran.
